Rossland Winter Carnival Snowman events for young carnival participants and spectators

ALL WEEKEND EVENTS

  • The world famous professional carving team, Slocan Snow Sculptures will be creating spectacular snow sculptures downtown and an amazing kids' double slide at the library Rossland Winter Carnival Snowman


    • Free Ice Skating at Washington & 4th Ave open to the public all weekend weather permitting Rossland Winter Carnival Snowman
    • Blizzard Music Festival presenting great music all weekend. Individual tickets available at The Flying Steamshovel or through www.blizzardmusicfest.com
    • Winter Carnival Poster Contest open to any artist 18 or younger. Design and submit a poster for next year's Winter Carnival and to Nelson and District Credit Union in Rossland for display. The winner will receive a $100 prize.
    • Rossland Beer Company presents "Give us your best Olaus" - To enter have your photo taken on location (1990A Columbia Ave). Hours are Thurs - Sat 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Sun 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Winner of a t-shirt and growler will be announced by Tuesday, January 30
